Gold Cerro to Bezad's last journey
Bezad's last journey by John Murray wins the XII Film Festival Premio Lessinia. At 12.30 winners of Festival announced. The movie La luce dentro, storia di Armando by Remo Schellino wins the Silver Cerro. For other winners of Festival see the Jury Verdict.

L'Abisso: one more special screening
Due to the huge amount of people in the Cerro Theather on Tuesday night, we will screen the movie "L'Abisso" one more time, in way to give the possibility to see the movie to those who were not able to come in. The special screening of "L'Abisso" will take place on friday, august 25th at 9 p.m. (Noi Hall). permalink

Henri Agresti: the human face of the exploration
Last night Henri Agresti and his wife Isabelle have been guests of the Filmfestival Premio Lessinia. They told us about the stories of their explorations through Sahara and Afghanistan in 60's. Together with their words, the immages of Agresti's documentaries have been screened: an interesting story of exploration experiences, when it was still possible to go with a Renault 4 on the Afghanistan mountains, now inaccessible places because of the war. They met people and cultures who, 40 years ago, were still living in the same conditions which Marco Polo described 800 years ago. permalink

The second Literary meeting: La strada di Podestaria
Today, thursday august 24th 2006, at 6 p.m., will take place the second Literary Meeting int he "NOI Hall". giovanni sandrini will present the book "La strada di Podestaria", about the construction of roads on the mountains during the First World War. This meeting is part of the "History on the mountains" day and it will end with a wine apertize.permalink

Oggi (mercoledì 23 agosto) il primo degli appuntamenti letterari al Festival. Alle ore 18.00 presso la Sala Noi, Walter Peraro e Raffaello Canteri presentano Il ponte sugli oceani. Giovedì 24 agosto Giovanni Sandrini presenta La strada di Podestaria. Venerdì 25 agosto Raffaella Benetti e Tommaso Castiglioni presentano Le fiabe veronesi.permalink

600 persone alle proiezioni di marted́ sera
Le due sale di proiezione del Festival sono state prese d’assalto martedì sera. Oltre 600 spettatori per assistere ai film in programma. Molti non sono riusciti a trovare posto in sala.permalink

"Serata Africa", la prima delle serate speciali
La prima delle serate speciali del Festival, dedicata interamente all’Africa, si è tenuta martedì sera nella Sala Noi. La proiezione dei due documentari riguardanti l’Africa, Voyage au centre de la pierre e Dr. Mick e la foresta ha aperto la serie di proiezioni a tema che caratterizzerano le prossime serate: “Da Oriente a Occidente” (mercoledì sera), “Montagne, scenari di guerra” (giovedì sera), “Pastori e malgari” (venerdì sera). Sabato la giornata interamente dedicata alle minoranze etnico linguistiche delle Alpi.

The Jury in the Cerro theater
On monday night, the Film Festival Premio Lessinia Jury watched the movies in competition together with the pubblic. The Jury's president, Italo Zandonella Callegher, together with Henri Agresti, Piero Zanotto, Giovanni Padovani and Averardo Amadio, started their works on monday. Saturday, august 25th 2006, at 12 there will be the proclamation of the winners. permalink

Teatro affollato: da oggi due sale di proiezione
Il teatro di Cerro Veronese gremito di 400 spettatori, e molti non sono riusciti a entrare, per le prime serate di proiezione del Film Festival Premio Lessinia. Da questa sera iniziano le proiezioni nella seconda sala, a pochi passi dal teatro. Dopo la giornata interamente dedicata alla Lessinia e al Monte Baldo, lunedì sera è stata la volta di altri 5 film in concorso. Questa sera, in teatro, l’evento speciale L’Abisso, di Alessandro Anderloni e, in Sala Noi, la “Serata Africa” con in programma i film Voyage au centre de la pierre di Nicolas Gabriel e Dr. Mick e la foresta di Bruno Chiaravallotti e Andrea Balossi Restelli.permalink
